Omnicare Orthodontics is a state-of-art facility providing the highest quality orthodontic care available. It is our top priority to protect the well-being of our valued patients. We are a bi-lingual office and currently have five employees. We are a family at OmniCare and we want you to become part of it too!
Dr Richard (Dick) Blume has been a Specialist in Orthodontics for over 30 years. Dr Blume has previously owned practices in Richardson and in McKinney before relocating to Anna, TX in September of 2009 due to the projected growth in the area. Omnicare is now the only full-time orthodontist serving in the area. All appointments are done on site in our Anna location with our wonderful staff. It has been our privilege to serve and support the Anna area and Anna has definitely been good to us.
Dr Blume is a native of Colorado and came to Texas to attend Abilene Christian University where he received his undergraduate degree. After serving in the Army, he attended The University of Texas Dental Branch and received his D.D.S. degree. Dr Blume returned to the military where he served as an Air Force dentist for two years before returning to the University of Texas Dental Branch for his Specialty of Orthodontics.

Meet Dr Blume
Dr. Blume is a native of Colorado and came to Texas to attend Abilene Christian University where he received his undergraduate degree. After serving in the Army, he attended The University of Texas Dental Branch and received his D.D.S. degree.
Dr. Blume returned to the military where he served as an Air Force dentist for two years before returning to the University of Texas Dental Branch for training in the speciality of orthodontics.
Dr. Blume is currently a member of The American Association of Orthodontics, Texas Dental Association, Southwest Society of Orthodontics and participates in local study clubs. Dr. Blume continues education classes, ensuring the his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
Dr. Blume and his wife Jane have 5 children and 15 grandchildren which keeps them very busy. They are active members of The Highland Oaks Church in Dallas. In their spare time, they enjoy golf and traveling.
Dr. Blume loves the practice of orthodontics and the transition he witnesses when the treatment is complete.

Meet Linda
Linda is the Business Manager and Treatment Coordinator and has worked with Dr. Blume for 20 plus years.
Linda and her husband Ed have lived in Anna for over 20 years. Their world is brighten by their son Todd and two grandchildren Kennedy and Jackson.
They are active in their local church in McKinney.

Meet Jessica
Jessica has been with OmniCare since 2014. She is RDA Certified and works RS on orthodontic assistant and lab tech.
Jessica's family is originally from Anna where she decided to move back to raise her three beautiful children.
In Jessica's spare time she enjoys running around to all the kid's activities and those "special game/movie nights."

Meet Thelma
Thelma is our Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator. She is a RDA Orthodontic Assistant. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years and has been with our practice since 2007.
Thelma has 2 wonderful son’s. In her spare time she loves to read and explore new walking trails with family and friends.

Meet Margarita
Margarita is one of our Orthodontics Assistants and an RDA. She has joined our staff in May of 2010.
Margarita has 3 beautiful children and in her spare time, Margarita enjoys running and spending time with her family.
